Educo is a registered Irish charity, run by volunteers to raise money to educate impoverished children. 100% of all donations go directly to the target project. There are no administration / organisation fees.

Educo Objective: To educate children out of poverty by building at least one school each year in India.

Educo Vision: Within 5 years, we want to be educating 5,000 poor children every year.

Though the number of literate people in India has increased over the years, it still has the largest number of uneducated children in the world - two-thirds of whom are girls. Government reports indicate that 59 million children between 6-14 years do not attend school.
